Wedding Video Liverpool - Karla & John's Same Day Edit at the Village Hotel in Whiston
This was my first Same Day Edit video, and I was really pleased with how it went. A Same Day Edit works as follows:
I start the day filming the bride getting ready, and then go to the ceremony location to record people arriving, and later on the ceremony etc. After the ceremony I’ll also record the confetti throwing, and candid shots of guests. I’ll carry on recording through the photo session but stop sometime before the wedding breakfast to begin the edit.
I’ll then spend the next 4 hours editing the footage I recorded earlier into a highlights film to show before the first dance.
During the speeches I setup a tripod mounted camera so this is also recorded whilst I carry on with the editing.
Then before the first dance the completed highlights film (4-5 mins long) is played back in front of the bride, groom and all their guests on a huge 80 inch HD projection screen. This is great, as it’s very entertaining for everyone (especially evening guests who haven’t seen the ceremony).
Karla gave us some lovely feedback "Thank you Sarah & Stuart for all your hard work making our day special. The same day video edit was fantastic and made our evening guests feel part of the whole day. I will defiantly be recommending you to other couples. Thank you again x x”.

In addition to the highlights film that they see on the day, Karla & John also receive a longer film including the full wedding ceremony, speeches and first dance.

Helen & Mark's Wedding
This was my first Coptic wedding and it was interesting to see both the similarities and differences compared to Anglican and Roman Catholic ceremonies. Mark and Helen were lovely and they obviously had a lot of friends from around the world as there were many guests from far afield. The Reception was in the largest room at the town hall, the room was stunning as you can see in the video. The Town Hall is definitely one of the best venues for a wedding video in Manchester.

Kunle & Kenni's Wedding
Kunle & Kenni are from Nigeria. This was my second Nigerian wedding so I had a pretty good idea what to expect and I really enjoyed the experience. In comparison to a typical UK wedding the ceremony and speeches are significantly longer and there is a great deal of dancing, including dancing down the aisle. Everybody joined in and there was a really happy atmosphere to the whole day.
Due to the length of the ceremony and speeches the resulting video is much longer. I have split it into five parts as there is a limit to the file sizes I can upload to Vimeo (the company which hosts our online videos). The Diary Room Video is password protected, Kunle and Kenni have the password.
