Wedding Video Packages
All packages include 3 DVDs. All DVDs will be provided in a case with a custom designed cover including a picture from the day. The DVDs themselves will have a printed custom design in a similar theme. The DVD menu screen includes pictures and footage from the day and is fully chaptered so you can access the whole video or specific sections. Extras:
Wedding Rehearsal (£99):
For church weddings we strongly recommend that we attend the rehearsal. This is so that we can find the best camera locations that are acceptable to the vicar/priest and yourselves. There may also be legal issues to discuss to do with recording music within the church. Getting these issues sorted out before hand, can save a lot of hassle on the day. If you don't want the expense of this option it is your responsibility to ensure that the vicar/priest is aware and happy for us to be there, and to let us know of any requests he/she might have.
Please note, it is not unknown (although it is not common) for churches to make a charge for a videographer to film the service, in such cases the charge is always passed onto the customer. We recommend that you tell the vicar/priest that you are hiring a videographer early in the process to that any details such as this can be ironed out.
Diary Room (£129):
This is an excellent addition to your wedding package, both moving and fun. The idea is inspired by the Big Brother Diary Room. A camera and mic are set up in a small room or quiet area where your guests (and you of course) can leave messages. The camera is constantly running so people can spontaneously pop in and have their say.
The footage is edited together with a music track.
The diary room can be recorded in the afternoon at the reception venue, or in the evening. The messages people leave tend to get more ‘interesting’ the later the diary room is set-up of course!
Best Bits (£99):
This is the days highlights set to a music track of your choice. This is much shorter than the full video so it’s great for showing friends and family.
Additional Coverage (£79 per hour):
Increased coverage = more footage = a better video
iPod Compatible Video Files (£49):
We can add iPod compatible versions of all your videos (main wedding video + best bits etc.) to your DVD. Your iPod needs to be able to play video for these to work of course. The files can be added to your iPod easily using Apple’s iTunes software for Mac or PC.
Additional DVD Copies (£19):
Extra DVDs for friends/family.
Archive Quality 24 karat Gold DVDs (+£10 each):
We usually use Verbatim or TY Japanese made DVDs. These are famous for their high quality and reliability. However, all DVDs will degrade to some extent over time due to oxidation and humidity. Therefore, we can also provide the option of archival grade 24 karat gold DVDs which are claimed to have a life of around 100 years (if properly looked after). We highly recommend this option!
Copyright (+10% to total cost):
We usually reserve the right to use images/video for promotional purposes (such as clips on the web site, demo disks etc.). If you select this option, however, you will own the copyright to your video/photographs and we will not reproduce them without your permission. One detail to be aware of with this option is that the copyright for any music present on the DVD will remain with the original rights holder, this means that you will need to obtain a license if you wish to duplicate any such material (copies produced by TapeMe are fully licensed, alternatively licenses can be purchased online for wedding videos).
